"The car was good here, very fast, but we already proved that all over the year. We've been working hard on this program, made those significant changes on the PEUGEOT 208 WRX at mid-season & I think, for a 1st official season, we managed to put in a strong performance. In this last race, we've been again very competitive, in the fight from start to finish. It was a good weekend & 3rd overall is a good result, knowing that everything is always so linked to that 1st corner. And it was messy again in the final. I am honestly happy about today & about the season. One only victory this year is still a victory! I don’t know what I'll do next year: for sure it wasn't great news coming from PEUGEOT about the end of the program. I'd like to thank the team for all the work & great moments this year. Now as far as I am concerned, I'll find other challenges, probably as a privateer. The next thing for me is Rally Dakar & we'll see what comes next."
''The weekend in Cape Town went relatively well. We've shown strong pace in each of the heats but unfortunately we weren't very lucky in the final: coming out of the dust, Peter Solberg did a spin, I hit him & that broke my triangle. Looking at the PEUGEOT adventure, it’s been 5 five years with the team for me, so it’s very emotional now when it’s ending. I am proud with what we've done, I am happy for what they've being giving to me through the years. We have some fantastic memories. I am proud of everything we achieved. It has been a good season this year again. I am happy with the overall result, happy for meeting the guys at PEUGEOT Sport, for sharing this journey with them. It’s difficult for me to speak, my voice is shaking. I just want to make sure that everyone knows that it's been very positive for me.''
''It was amazing to get once again to the final! I was so pleased to put the car in the final for my crew & it was actually the main goal for every race weekend. I was in the fight for the podium again but of course, I was hoping for a 3rd place. Finishing with a 4th place is still nice, as I confirm again my best score this season. You learn a lot as a factory driver when you're 20! I will take all this experience to grow. I think I needed that to prepare myself to be World Champion as soon as possible. It’s so emotional after this race: all the people working in this team are amazing & I am so thankful. Merci à tous.''
"It was super close, but we knew before the start that if Johan would be ahead, it would probably win Q4. He had the pole position & I didn't manage to pass him at the start. I was following, trying to do a strategy with the joker. It was a good strategy, there's nothing to complain about. Johan was just a little faster again & he won. I feel confident for this afternoon. I'm in pole position in Semi-Final 2, which is pretty good, so I'll try to use it as well as possible to keep the 1st position in the 1st corner. That’s the plan."
"It was a tough race! The speed was good this time, even if the result could have been slightly better, I guess. It was a hard battle to Turn 1. I got squeezed in-between Seb Loeb & Peter Solberg because they were both in front of me & they turned at the same time. All of us survived in the end & I came up 4th after the start, putting in my best lap so far this weekend! I think this was 100% what I could do. When I was chasing Johan & Seb, we were quite far in front & very fast, that’s great. 3rd place in the intermediate means front row for Semi-Final & there's still a card to play with the tyres."
"It was nice! We found some more pace in the end, some more confidence in the car, which is very good as we head into the Semi-Finals. I was very happy about Q4. Now we start P4 in the semi-final: it's going to be a challenge from the outside but I'm optimistic. It's the last race of the season & I really want to finish on a high note."
"It was a good race! It was important to take a good start in order not to be stuck by the other cars & I managed to do it so I was leading in the 1st corner. From that point, all I had to do was to push. We used new tyres with the objective to make a good result in Q3, secure a good position for Q4 & score big points. And that's what we did at the end! At the moment it’s looking good, I will start 2nd on the grid in Q4. Kristoffersson, in the inside, will not be easy to beat but we'll fight hard!"
“3rd is a good result but I hate when someone else is faster... I was behind Johan & he was pulling a big gap. The good side of things is that he had new tyres & I had used ones. We know that our car is very strong when we put new tyres on so we still have this card to play. We are still in the fight to end up in pole position for the semi-final & the fight is very close. Everything is still to play for in Q4!"
"I was able to exit 2nd after the launch, then I had an OK run. I saw that Sebastien had some different lines so I tried to see if I could go a bit more toward his way, to be a bit faster. As I was behind, it was good to look at him. It’s tricky to keep up with the competitors in front, they are a step ahead. But 7th in Q3 & 7th overall is good, it’s where I'm currently able to be. I will try to find a bit more in Q4 & secure 7th position overall before the Semi-finals. If possible, I'll even try to climb to 6th."
